North Pole Breakfast & a Freebie

Yesterday was a great day. Our elves returned from the North Pole and we had our North Pole breakfast. Of course when my mom and I were setting up for the breakfast we could not find the elf from last year. So a late night trip to Target was required. In the morning my daughter saw her stocking in the ornament box and said maybe Santa left something for me in my stocking too. Guess what? The missing elf was there. We told her the elfs must have been playing hide and seek when she woke up and were frozen that way. She was thrilled that Santa sent two elves.

It was wonderful to see my little girl smile and her enthusiasm was contagious. We also got her pictures with Santa done yesterday. My mom was a great help in making it possible to find some time to enjoy the season and make some memories. Moms rock!

Here are the pictures of our special breakfast.

I also had a request for another version of the Sleigh Race game. You can find the original post, game, and directions here. This version could be played in any subject. If you have an idea for how you are going to use it I would love for you to leave a comment sharing your idea. I always love reading your comments. Just click on the picture to grab the game.

  1. THANK YOU for posting this freebie! I will use it while working with my little ones on their early literacy skills. I was thinking about giving them their own strip and having them color in a reindeer with each question the answer correctly.
    Thanks again!
